The world is a better place when people love themselves the way God loves them. I teach this in yoga. It’s like telling parents when they take care of themselves they have a greater ability to take care of their children. It is not a sin to love yourself because each of us is a gift. We have a choice to use our free will to live in fear of what others think or to love ourselves the way God loves us.

This is awesome. You're finding that sacred place of self-discovery many people hope to reach but few seldom do. Joyce Meyer said, "As long as I feel the need to impress somebody, I'll never be free." Enjoy your freedom, Mark. Hopefully, one day soon, I'll fully get there too. And don't worry--your true "friends" will continue to love you just the way you are.

I so appreciate your Authentic Self sharing

your gut-level/no nonsense/absolute "hand to God"✋TRUTH! I've been on a 'growing myself up' journey for quite a while--it ain't easy! But 'gentle, intuitive celestial nudges' silently reassure me that I'm 'on a good path'. So-- I sign up for another day of releasing 'people-pleasing' & 'undeservingness'...and to my surprise, those 5 letters-B R A V E-are 'morphing' from a simple 'word' into a FEELING. W🌟W!!
