I am also a fan of baseball over all other sports. Having been an usher several years for the Nashville Sounds I know what the Guest Services experience is like. As to my happy place it would be early morning on nice days on my screened porch where I have my priority time reading God’s Word and time in prayer as I prepare for the day.
What a great story, Mark; I’m so glad you found this job/joy! My happy place is standing in front of my Symphony Chorale, directing them in producing glorious music. I love teaching them, helping them develop vocally, and working together toward something that takes all of our collective efforts. I also love knowing them individually and having friendships with them. It brings me incredible joy.
What a delightful article, Mark! It sounds like great fun. How do you plan to use all your extra time now that the season is over? You might find my baseball post interesting if you haven't read it: https://carolbrusegar.com/one-old-photo/
Thank you so much!! I love your article!!!! That'd make for an amazing movie! I wonder if any have been made? Extra time...hmm...nothing definite, but I'm always open to what might be next!!
Super fun! A friend of mine, Kevin Gruver has been working there for years as an usher/greeter and in security, too. He loves it and has great stories to tell. He was even chosen as employee of the month recently. I think it would be a fun place to work!
Yes! Thank you, Jodi!! I love this!

That's awesome! Thank you so much for reading Colleen and writing this note! It is a very fun place to work!
It is inspiring to listen to your stories and it makes me more grateful for what I have in my life.
My happy place is at a cabin on the Conejos River in Southwest Colorado where I spent summers with my family. My family is my ultimate joy.
That sounds awesome, Dayna! Thank you!
I love this! Good for you! I have been telling my daughter for years, when I retire I want to move back to Boston and work at Fenway!
Awesome!! I hope that happens for you Karen!!
