Hello Friend! In my last email sent (on Sunday) I announced that I’m releasing my Christmas album in a way that I hope makes it super easy for you to hear it! It will be on the music streaming platforms on Nov. 22nd, but I want YOU to be able to hear it first! Here are the details I sent out and a listen/download of the opening track (and check out the details below about my upcoming Christmas concert/party to celebrate its release!).
**Would you like to listen to the entire album? You can right here!
ALSO: I’m a huge fan of the new Substack app!! Please download it, sign in, and find me to join in for exclusive chats and meet other readers and writers, too! All the details about the app are right here.
TRACK LISTING:
(all songs have been newly mastered for this project)
Biggest Birthday Party- an outrageously fun party tune celebrating the biggest birthday in the world. Step into the music hall and get lost in the joy! (with a new intro)
Mary, Did You Know - you love this song, but you’ve never heard it this way!
Emmanuel (You Are With Me) - originally heard in the movie “The Perfect Gift” (in which I also play the bad guy!), this updated version is a simple prayer that has been heard all over the world (also with a new intro!)
Let It Snow - the traditional favorite done in a lounge version.
O Come O Come/ Little Drummer Boy/ Joy - a gentle a cappella tune melts into a gorgeous piano instrumental, and leads into a joyous pop celebration of a new take on “Joy to the World” ( a little like Mannheim Steamroller meets Vangelis)
I’ll Be Home For Christmas - a dreamy, stirring version of the classic.
Hallelujah Chorus - you’ve never heard it like this!! I worked with the Nashville Soul Choir on this very contemporary version.
You Are - this original tune celebrates the greatest gift the world has ever known with a World Music feel.
Hark, The Herald Angel Sing - this uber-pop version will get your toe tapping!
Interlude - a reading of the lyrics of “Silent Night” in Australian English and French.
Silent Night - a reflective piano instrumental of this classic tune interpolating “Joy to the World.”
