Why I'm Releasing My Christmas Album Here on Substack

I’m so excited about you hearing this music that I will be sending out a few more emails than normal surrounding this release!

Hello! I’ve been planning on releasing my upcoming album Happy Christmas on all the normal music streaming platforms, like Amazon, Spotify, Apple Music, etc. and I still will (it will release on 11/22). BUT…instead of trying to get people to go somewhere else to find my music, I thought I’d bring the music to where the people already are… HERE!

I want to make it super easy for you to hear my Christmas music.

And share this music first with the people who support me most.

Today I’m sharing with you the first track, “Biggest Birthday Party.” This might be the most fun Christmas song you’ve ever heard. That was my goal, at least! I mean, we are celebrating the biggest birthday ever, so let’s make it a good party!

Also…I don’t know if you’ve heard but very, very few artists actually ever see any money from streaming services. To be honest, my desire is just to have people get to hear my music and hopefully enjoy it! And then to offer an opportunity to support me directly if they desire.
